Iron Pit Works builds and sells ready-made and custom-built smokers, grills, and related outdoor cooking equipment. Please review the following policy before placing an order.
1. Order Cancellation
We offer tiered refund options based on how much work has already been dedicated to your order:
Within 7 Days of Order: Eligible for a 100% full refund of your deposit.
Within 30 Days of Delivery: Eligible for a 50% refund of the total price. Costs for custom modifications already performed will be deducted.
Within 14 Days of Delivery: Not eligible for a refund, as logistics and labor have been fully committed.
Canceled orders are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
Custom orders that have already entered fabrication or production are subject to a 50% restocking fee. This fee applies once fabrication or production has begun.
Orders for completed products may not be canceled once the product has been completed or prepared for shipment.
2. Return Policy
Return Window: 14 Days from delivery.
Return Method: By Mail / Freight.
Return Fees: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Restocking/Cancellation Fee: Up to 50% for customized orders or late cancellations.
Product Condition: Must be in original delivered condition.
3. Returns of Ready-Made Products
Returns are available only for eligible stock or standard products.
Customers must contact us before returning any product. No product should be returned without prior approval and return instructions.
Once a return has been approved, Iron Pit Works may arrange or provide instructions for return shipping.
Approved returned products are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
The product must arrive at Iron Pit Works in its original condition. Once the returned product has been received and inspected, the applicable refund will be issued, less any applicable restocking fee and non-refundable shipping and handling charges.
4. Custom-Built Products
Custom-built or personalized smokers, grills, and other products cannot be returned simply because the customer changes their mind or no longer wants the product.
Custom-built products may only be eligible for return, repair, replacement, or another appropriate resolution where the product arrives damaged, is materially defective, or does not conform to the agreed order specifications, subject to applicable law.
5. Products Damaged During Shipping
Please inspect your smoker, grill, or other product upon delivery. If the product appears damaged during transportation, customers should:
Photograph the damage and the packaging;
Note the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt or Bill of Lading before signing, where possible; and
Contact Iron Pit Works immediately
If the product is severely damaged, customers should contact Iron Pit Works within 14 days of delivery or the carrier immediately for instructions before accepting or returning the shipment.
Failure to document visible damage at delivery may affect the ability to pursue a shipping damage claim.
After the damage has been reviewed, Iron Pit Works may, where appropriate, repair or replace the product or provide another appropriate resolution.
6. Refund Processing
If you haven’t received a refund within 10 business days of approval:Check Your Bank Account: It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
